15th Archaeological Conference of Central Germany: Kinship, Sex, and Biological Relatedness. The contribution of archaeogenetics to the understanding of social and biological relations

International conference in Halle (Saale) from 6 to 8 October 2022.

The Archaeological Conference of Central Germany is hosted annually by the State Office for Heritage Management and Archaeology Saxony-Anhalt. Based on finds or findings from Central Germany, the international conference addresses selected archaeological topics in order to contribute new insights into the interdisciplinary discussion.

This year’s conference will be devoted to the archaeological and natural scientific possibilities of evaluating kinship and biological relatedness in prehistoric and early historic periods and their impact on a wider field of social sciences.

Please find the conference programme in the flyer.
